Lambert: 'Boyle's Hit Is Horrendous'

ADAM LAMBERT has slammed SUSAN BOYLE's debut single, insisting her cover of the ROLLING STONES' hit WILD HORSES made him "cry with laughter".

The Scottish sensation's album I Dreamed A Dream kept the American Idol runner-up off the top of the U.S. charts after he released For Your Entertainment in November (09).

Lambert sold an impressive 200,000 copies in his first week - but he couldn't believe he was toppled by Boyle's "terrible" album.

He tells Britain's Gay Times, "If only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!

"Still, when my album charted, it was validating. I was feeling bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: 'Wow, look what I did.'"

Adam you see what they said about your comment about Susan Boyle, HER HIT SONG! Hit is something you have never had! Don't hide behind the fact that you are gay to try to make yourself look important. Instead of being thankful that you were given the chance to make a career you can be proud of you are only making yourself look shallow and a jealous little girl. You could only hope to have the success that she will most definitely have. Take a hint from Amy Winehouse, you can fall as fast as you got to the top. Don't make the mistake of making unnecessary nasty comments for publicity because it may turn around and make you fodder for hurtful comments that you won't be able to handle. You are too new in your status to be insulting other singers as you have done nothing out of the ordinary. Remember the higher you are the harder you can fall. Fame can be fleeting. If you have nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all. With the little talent you do possess you have no room to critique others who surpass you without breaking a sweat.

Disappointed!! Adam, don't be a hater!!!I was his biggest fan, but these comments have made me a little disappointed im him. There is room for everyone, and he of all people, should be grateful for that! I am not a fan of SB, but am happy for her success. Someone has to root for the under dog!
