Lamb Of God Singer Charged With Manslaughter Of Czech Fan
The UK's Guardian newspaper reports that the metal legends, who've released seven studio albums over their 22 years together, were due to play in the Czech capital of Prague on Thursday. However, this was the same city where the infamous incident happened, and Blythe was arrested instantly on his arrival into the country under the charge of "bodily harm of the fourth degree resulting in [death]". He could go to prison for 10 years if found guilty. The incident happened in the city's Klub Abaton venue, with the fan allegedly hitting his head on the concrete having been pushed, passing away 14 days later.
It's a claim that's been strenuously denied by Lamb Of God's management, with their publicist writing "Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind. This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head."
