Lamb Of God Launch Online Auction To Help Pay Randy Blythe's Bills
Blythe, who stands accused of contributing to the death of a 19-year-old fan by pushing him off stage at the band's gig in Prague in 2010, was imprisoned in the city throughout July (12) on manslaughter charges.
He was finally released on 2 August (12) and he has since returned to the U.S. and reunited with his group on stage during a festival in Iowa.
And now the rockers have thrown their support behind their pal by vowing to donate all the proceeds from a new eBay.com auction, featuring the sale of equipment and memorabilia, to Blythe as he faces massive legal fees to mount his defence case.
A number of other musicians including Slash, Megadeth star David Ellefson and MAChine Head's Robb Flynn, have also donated items to the site.
Blythe is expected to return to the country to stand trial and hopefully clear his name later this year (12).
