Lady GaGa has to see a chiropodist because of her love of high heels.

The 'Judas' hitmaker - who is well known for her keenness of high shoes, including a pair of ankle boots without a heel - has been suffering with crippling pain in her tendons and has now had to seek medical help.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "For the past two years, Gaga has lived virtually day-in, day-out in huge platform heels.

"As well as dry, cracked heels, she's developed not-so-pretty corns and has been suffering with acute tendonitis.

"Her team has advised her to get specialist help. She had some physio on her feet and is now seeing a podiatrist who suggested that she started wearing trainers."

The singer has previously joked she would "rather die" than ever be seen in flat shoes.

She said: "You see legendary people taking out the trash. I think it's destroying show business. I'd never give up my wigs and hats for anything. I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels."
