Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga Suffers Concussion After Being Hit By Metal Pole
Lady Gaga is suffering from concussion after being hit by a metal pole during a concert on her Born This Way tour. The incident happened during her performance in Auckland, New Zealand, when one of her dancers accidentally swiped her over the head with a large stage prop. Footage of the incident has emerged on YouTube, with Gaga looking stunned and in pain from the blow, as she raises her hand to her head straight after it happened.
Gaga - who was holding a mock machine gun at the time - briefly left the stage, after staggering. She did return and complete the performance, though, which is part of a huge world tour. Tara Savelo, her makeup artist later posted a message on her own Twitter feed, assuring the pop star's fans that she was going to be ok. "Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I'm taking care of her. cant believe she finished the show," the message read.
The Born This Way tour has been marred with problems so far. The New York-based singer managed to upset fans in Thailand with a denigrating tweet about the country's culture for producing fake designer goods and her show in Jakarta, Indonesia was cancelled due to pressure from religious pressure groups who deemed her stage show too racy for the country's Gaga fanatics. Gaga refused to compromise her artistry and cancelled the show, telling her followers "I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown. GagaSendsLoveToJakarta and all its people."
