Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga Labelled “A Slut” By New York Politician James Molinaro

Lady GaGa’s fat? No we didn’t think so either, but the latest accusations levelled towards the pop superstar seem a little more hurtful. Borough President of Staten Island James Molinaro has caused a storm by publically branding Gaga “a slut” during a ‘Tackling Youth Substance Abuse’ event on Monday (September 24, 2012).

Referring to a photograph of the singer smoking marijuana in Amsterdam last week, Mr Molinaro told the gathered audience, “… we have to understand that there's a tremendous influence with our youth, which I didn't have as a youth. And there's the influence right there…(gesturing to the image) Stop glorifying the drug use…There's Gaga. Here's this ... this ... I would call her a slut. This slut is influencing many, many children…” Molinaro said he had two daughters, aged 12 and 14, who were big fans of Gaga, though asked the audience, “Why? Why?” before adding, “To me, she's not an actress, she's a slut ... in the pure meaning of the word.” He then took things up a notch further, launching into a story about a 19-year-old who was pressured into taking a pill at a party and “died within an hour.”

Gaga raised eyebrows during a concert in Holland last Tuesday, smoking a spliff though telling her fans a few puffs were “not enough” to get her high.
