Lady Gaga Announces 'Born This Way Ball' UK Tour Dates
According to Gaga's website, the tickets for the show will cost between 50 pounds and 80 pounds for the London show and between 60 pounds and 80 pounds for the Manchester show. Support on both of the UK dates will come from the newly-reformed rock band The Darkness. The Darkness reached the peak of the fame in the early 2000's, with their hit singles 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' and 'Get Your Hands Off of My Woman.' Lead singer Justin Hawkins left the band in 2006, when he decided to embark on a rehabilitation program for his addiction problems. They announced their reunion in 2011 and will be playing this year's Isle of Wight festival.
Speaking about the tour, Lady Gaga - known as Mother Monster to her fans - had this to say: "The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage"..."The Born This Way Ball is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating."| Comment on this article |
