Kylie Minogue Records Orchestral Album

Kylie Minogue has recorded orchestral versions of her hit pop songs, and will perform them live before releasing the collection as an album, reports Sky News.

The Australian pop star - diminutive in stature but a giant of the pop industry - will perform some of her classics at Proms in the Park, in a slightly different format. She has re-worked hits like Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Better The Devil You Know, The Locomotion and I Should Be So Lucky for her new album, The Abbey Road Sessions, and they all take an orchestral arrangement.

The album will also feature the talents of Nick Cave; the moody Australian musician, with a powerful body of dark of seminal indie-rock, makes an interesting coupling with the bouncy, miniature pop icon that is Kyle Minogue. The pair will return to their track, ‘The murder ballad;’ the hit from 1996, which saw Cave's character kill Minogue with a blow to the head. Fans of hers will be able to get a sneak peak at the new versions of her songs on September 8 in London, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra as she headlines Proms in the Park in Hyde Park. The full album is out on October 29th, and will feature the previously unreleased track: Flower.

The Abbey Road Sessions' tracklisting is:

'All The Lovers'

'On A Night Like This'

'Better The Devil You Know'

'Hand On Your Heart'

'I Believe In You'

'Come Into My World'

'Finer Feelings'

'Slow'

'The Locomotion'

'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'

'Where The Wild Roses Grow'
