Kyle Massey - Kyle Massey Sues Tv Producer Over Bristol Palin Reality Show

The ex-Disney star claims he and his brother Christopher created a show for former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter - but they were cut out of the project at the last minute.

In the suit, filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday (19Jun12) and obtained by Tmz.com, Massey claims he met Bristol Palin when they were both contestants on Dancing with the Stars - and developed the idea for a show, called Helping Hands, in which the brothers help Palin meet the challenges of child rearing while adjusting to life in Los Angeles.

According to the suit, a producer named David MCKenzie took on the project, cut the Masseys out of the show and repackaged the idea as Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp.

The Masseys suit comes on the same day as the premiere episode of the show. They are demanding monetary compensation, claiming they were not properly credited for creating the show.
