Kutcher's Dramatic Diet For Spread Role

The actor had just completed shooting on upcoming action film Personal Effects when he signed on for comedy Spread, about a serial womaniser who sleeps his way into a life of privilege.

But Kutcher faced a race against time to drop the extra 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) of weight he had put on and was forced to dramatically cut his diet to slim down for Spread.

He tells People.com, "I had just played a movie where I played a wrestler, so I had to lose like 10 pounds and stop eating and take care of myself. I really cut back to a meal a day. I was probably down to 175 pounds."
