CHAD KROEGER's former housekeeper has accused the Nickelback frontman of punishing her kids following her dismissal by refusing to give them free concert tickets.
Arlene Morris cleaned Kroeger's home in Abbotsford, Canada for two years but she was sacked last week (beg31May10) for allegedly taking some discarded clothes belonging to the singer's girlfriend.
Morris claims the rocker promised her five sons tickets to the band's gig in Vancouver on 3 June (10), but the offer was retracted after she was fired - leaving her children bitterly disappointed.
She tells the Vancouver Sun, "(My kids) were so looking forward to it. They told all their friends. (Kroeger) totally destroyed what I thought he was. And that's heartbreaking. He devastated all of them."
But Nickelback's manager Jonathan Simkin is adamant the star's decision to dismiss Morris was justified.
He says, "She was given an opportunity to do the right thing, which she chose not to do. She was fired under very reasonable circumstances."
