Kristen Stewart picked up a lasting reminder of the Twilight films when she suffered a nasty "puncture wound" during last-minute reshoots for the vampire franchise's final installment.
The actress flew back to Vancouver, Canada with boyfriend and co-star Robert Pattinson last month (Apr12) to shoot additional footage for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
But production was brought to a halt after Stewart injured her foot while working on scenes in which her vampire character Bella Swan goes on her first hunt.
Stewart could be seen limping as she appeared on U.S. talk show The Tonight Show, and she told host Jay Leno, "I wasn't trying to have ultimate swag when I walked out (to the interview) - I hurt my foot. I wasn't trying to get out of wearing heels either. Puncture wound, promise!"
But the 22 year old admits she was thrilled with the work she did on set.
She adds, "The first hunt is always so important. I just wanted more of it. We all wanted more of it."
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is due to hit theatres in November (12).
