Kristen Cavallari, the American reality star best known for her appearances in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and its spin-off The Hills, is pregnant with her first child. She and husband-to-be Jay Cutler broke off their engagement in July 2011, but after reconciling in November have repaired their relationship and announced the good news over the weekend.
Speaking to People magazine, the couple gushed, "We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together.It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family". The pair hit the headlines in late 2011 when Cutler began turning up to watch his former-fiance during her time on Dancing With The Stars, fuelling speculation of a reunion. After renewing their engagement, Kristen spoke candidly about their relationship getting back on track, saying, "Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end - even if it's momentarily". The 25-year-old was previously in a relationship with her 'Hills' co-star Brody Jenner but the couple split in 2006. She later briefly dated Justin Bobby after he split from Audrina Patridge, leading to a feud between the two female stars on the Mtv reality show.
In recent years, Cavallari has become involved with numerous charities and travelled to Kenya in 2011 to help the non-profit organization One Kid One World. Her fiance Jay Cutler is a quarterback for the Chicago Bears.
