During the latest episode of the family's reality show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', the clan turn out for Scott's restaurant opening in New York, with Kanye West making his debut appearance on the show. However, a pregnant Kourtney is later shown yelling at Scott after he goes partying in New York, forgetting his responsibilities as a father. Kim and her mother are later filmed discussing Scott, who has divided the family on numerous occasions in the past. The matriarch of the famous family said, "It's just like the same old story over and over and over. He misbehaves, she ignores it and then she rewards him for his bad behaviour. I'm just over it", with Kim telling her mother, "They've slept in separate beds for two-and-a-half years". Since the birth of Penelope Scotland, the couple appear to be on good terms again, though it is unclear whether they have decided to move back into the same bed. The episode - filmed in April - also featured Kim revealing that boyfriend Kanye was finding it hard being filmed for the show. The reality star said he was feeling a little "overwhelmed" with the constant presence of the cameras.

Earlier in the episode, the 'Watch the Throne' rapper watched his new girlfriend get dressed for the restaurant opening, while Kim wore 'KW' earrings - which caused a stir in the press at the time.
