Porsha Stewart - the charity worker, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and granddaughter of civil rights leader Hosea Williams - has spoken of being "blindsided" by husband Kordell Stewart filing divorce papers less than two years after they married. Stewart's opening tagline in the Bravo reality series is "People say I have a picture perfect life, and I do."

Well, that picture was smashed into smithereens when Kordell - a former NFL star - made steps to officially end the union. "She was 100 per cent completely blindsided. Friends are trying to contact her but she's not picking up her phone or returning texts," a pal tells Us Weekly. A representative for Porsha later gave an official statement, saying, "Mrs. Stewart is disappointed about her husband's recent filing for divorce. Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media."

It's a strange state of affairs, though the signs were there. During season five of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha argued that she longed to continue her charity work while being a mother, though Stewart asked her to choose between the two. "Her whole identity is about being a happy, obedient wife," the source added.
