Solange Knowles - Knowles Rants About 'Slander And Lies'

Solange Knowles has spoken out in an effort to silence the rumours surrounding her sister Beyonce's newborn baby, insisting, "The ignorance is really sad and upsetting."

Gossips have gone into overdrive following the arrival of Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy on Saturday (07Jan12), with some speculating the singer faked her pregnancy and others accusing the new parents of causing chaos in New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital by keeping other patients out of the wards.

Beyonce's little sister Solange is fed up with the reports and admits it's hard to keep quiet while her loved ones are "slandered, lied on (sic), and ridiculed".

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "It has really gotten out of hand. I've been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut... but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting.

"We are supposed to be super human and watch people we love get slandered, lied on (sic), and ridiculed. It is one of The hardest things to accept.

"In any other workplace... if someone directly tells your (sic) mother or sister is a liar and a fake etc... you would naturally express yourself. However, the pure happiness and joy I've witnessed and experienced helps me to keep my mouth shut."
