Knightley's Poor Soccer Skills
Actress Keira Knightley failed to retain any of the soccer skills she learned while filming Bend It Like Beckham - and was humiliated while recently playing with friends.
The British beauty shot to fame in the 2002 movie, playing a sports-crazy tomboy, and she received expert training on how to kick a soccer ball.
But Knightley admits she can't remember any of her lessons.
She says, "I tried to play football (soccer) and it was the most embarrassing thing. I went to the park with a load of mates, you know, a load of guys, and I was like, 'Yeah, I can do this, I was in a football movie.'
"Totally failed. I was the biggest girl and it was embarrassing. I just had to sit down and go, 'OK, my skills have gone, it's fine.'"
