Knightley And Friend Split
British actress Keira Knightley has split from her longtime boyfriend Rupert Friend.
The couple, who met on the set of 2005 movie Pride & Prejudice, mutually decided to end their five-year relationship shortly before Christmas (25Dec10).
Knightley's father Will tells Britain's The Sun, "Yes, they have broken up. But that's the way things go, unfortunately. The only option is to get on with things.
"They were together for quite a long time and it is always hard breaking up. She's focused on her work."
