King Juan Carlos I of Spain has been discharged from hospital after undergoing reconstructive surgery on his left hip joint.
The 74 year old was admitted to a Madrid medical facility in November (12) for the operation to improve his overall mobility, and on Sunday (02Dec12) doctors released him from their care.
Joking with journalists as he left the centre, the monarch promised he would "take things very easily" while he recuperated.
According to the Associated Press, medics expect Carlos to make a full recovery.
This is the latest in a string of health problems for the royal - in April (12) he injured his right hip joint on an African safari and over the past few years he has undergone knee surgery and an operation to remove a benign lung tumour.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
