Musician B.B. KING was devastated when his manager banned him from flying a plane alone - as it "took the fun out of it". The Blues legend, 81, is a qualified pilot and used to travel to performances in his own private plane, but was told by his insurance company and manager he would have to take on a co-pilot to supervise his actions for any future journeys. King now abstains from flying to all of his gigs, instead travelling primarily in a mobile home. He says, "(Flying with someone else) took all the fun out of it. That's like having a chaperone when you've got a pretty girl."
