Kimora Lee Simmons - Kimora Lee Simmons Dodges Djimon Hounsou Break-up Reports

The couple found its relationship under scrutiny this week (05Jun12) when an article in the New York Daily News suggested the stars had called it quits following a big argument over money.

The report speculated that music mogul Russell Simmons' ex-wife was in financial difficulty after placing her six bedroom home in Beverly Hills, California on the market for $4.7 million (£2.94 million) - more than $1 million (£625,000) less than her purchase price in 2007.

Lee Simmons quickly took to Twitter.com to blast reports of money troubles, writing, "Wow, I put 1 of several properties I own (+Don'T live in) on the market & now apparently my whole life is fallin (sic) apart?! Rumors, rumors…"

However, the beauty stopped short of addressing the main topic of the article - her romance with Hounsou - and her representative simply says, "Kimora has a beautiful family life."

A publicist for Blood Diamond actor Hounsou has also dodged the split rumours, telling the New York Daily News, "Djimon's been working in Vancouver for the past few months."

Lee Simmons and Hounsou began dating in 2007 and are parents to three-year-old son Kenzo.
