Kimberley Walsh - Kimberley Walsh To Launch Solo Career

British singer Kimberley Walsh is preparing to follow her Girls Aloud bandmates into the charts by releasing a solo album next year (13).

The girl group recently announced a comeback after a three-year hiatus, during which Walsh has dabbled in acting, appearing in the West End production of Shrek The Musical, and is also enjoying a run on Tv talent show Strictly Come Dancing.

She has now announced she will become the latest member of the band to go solo with plans to release her debut album, Centre Stage, in February (13).

A message from her representatives posted on Twitter.com reads, "Just announced: Kimberley Walsh releases her debut album Centre Stage on Feb 3rd on Decca Records."

Walsh's bandmates Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts have all previously released albums, and Walsh featured on Aggro Santos' 2011 track Like U Like, which was a top 10 hit in the U.K.
