Kimberley Walsh Nervous About Royal Performance

Kimberley Walsh was nervous about performing in front of Prince William and Duchess Catherine last night (11.05.12).

The Girls Aloud star sung Queen's 'One Vision' with tenor Alfie Boe at Our Greatest Team Rises - the launch party for 2012's Team GB and Paralympic GB - yesterday, and was anxious about the reaction of the royal guests, who are Olympic Ambassadors.

She said: ''It's quite scary - it's not something I do every night. It's going to put the pressure on but it's really nice to know William and Catherine are going to support the event. I am a huge fan of theirs - I love what the two of them are about.''

Alfie will also perform at the Diamond Jubilee Concert - celebrating Queen Elizabeth's 60 year reign - at Buckingham Palace on June 4, and said he cannot wait to sing in front of the monarch.

He told HELLO! magazine: ''It's a real honour to be part of the Diamond Jubilee and to be able to perform for Her Majesty. I'm thrilled to be a part of it and to be sharing the stage with such wonderful artists like Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Elton John.''
