During a chat with US Weekly magazine on Tuesday evening (March 20, 2012), Cheban launched a scathing attack on Hamm following his critical remarks in Elle magazine, saying, "I think Jon Hamm needs to just shut up and stop being such a mad man! He needs to mind his own business, because Kim works hard. They do different things -it's a whole different world". Hamm is a multi-award winning actor and the star of Amc's biggest show Mad Men, though he claimed the likes of Kardashian have simply made their millions through celebrity culture, saying, "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f*cking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture".
