Kim Kardashian always wanted to be in a reality TV show.

The 32-year-old socialite and her family have become worldwide stars thanks to their TV shows - which include 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' - and Kim says it's always been her plan to live her life through the cameras.

She said: ''In high school I used to watch 'The Real World', which was the first reality TV show. I remember saying to my best friend, 'That is what I want to do. I know that my life is supposed to be on a reality show.' ''

Kim believes their shows have become huge hits because she and her family are so open on them and they show fans every aspects of their lives.

She added to Tatler magazine: ''People like to live vicariously through us because of the glitz and the glam that we definitely have, but we're also so normal. I'm there in my sweats looking so ugly and most of the time we're only fighting about the things that normal families fight about.''
