Socialite Kim Kardashian's idol in life used to be fictional Disney cartoon character Princess Jasmine, who helped her overcome her body issues.
Kim Kardashian's role model was Princess Jasmine from 'Aladdin'.
The curvaceous socialite - who was recently immortalised as a waxwork at New York's Madame Tussauds waxwork museum - used to look up to the Disney cartoon character, because she looked the same as her.
She explained: "It's good for women to have a role model. I remember when 'Aladdin' came out when I was young - I was obsessed with Princess Jasmine as I looked just like her. And I admired Sophia Loren and looked to her body shape.
"So if I can help anyone feel more comfortable in their skin, I'm all for it. I say, 'Be proud of who you are. Be proud to have boobs. Love your butt. Be proud to be a curvy woman because curves are sexy!"
However, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star wasn't always so happy with her voluptuous figure and suffered cruel taunts from bullies at school.
She told Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine: "I was 11 when I started developing boobs and a butt, and it made me feel uncomfortable. The girls at school made fun of me, and when I looked at magazines, everyone was so skinny and that wasn't me.
"Luckily, in my family, curvy was normal. What got me through it was being close to my mom. She talked to me and my sisters and told us to be proud of who we are. She gave us confidence."
