Will Kim And Kanye's Baby Really Be Named 'North'?
Rumours are flying around that new parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby daughter may be named 'North West' despite the Kardashian klan's disdain.
After Kim gave birth to a baby girl weeks earlier than expected, Kim and Kanye have not yet decided on a name, but rapper Kanye West is said to be lobbying hard to name her 'North.'
According to a close friend of Kim's speaking to InTouch, "North is at the top of the list of names", indicating it may be more to West's taste than Kim or her family's: "They're not totally sure about it. Kanye loves it, Kim is okay with it."
In order to continue her family's addiction to the letter 'K', 32 year-old reality TV star Kim has mentioned in the past that the trend was likely to continue with the new generation, that is until Kanye fought so strongly for 'North.'
Despite their disagreements over names, both of the first-time parents are said to be thrilled at the little girl's arrival, particularly 36 year-old Kanye, whose new album Yeezus dropped today (June 18), and whose paternal reaction was described by Kim's friend Larsa Pippen: "He's so cute. He doesn't leave the room[...] He's, like, in love with the baby."
No photos have been released of their little bundle of joy just yet but she has been described as "beyond beautiful" by visitors.
Both mother and baby are reportedly doing well despite a tough pregnancy and the couple are expected to have made a decision by the end of Tuesday (18th June).
Do you think 'North West' works well or does it sound like just another celebrity silly? Should they stick with the 'K' trend or move away from it like eldest sister Kourtney did with her baby, Penelope? What should Kim and Kanye name their baby? Let us know!
