Killers To Play At White House
The rockers stepped out of the spotlight earlier this year (10), announcing plans to take an extended break from music following the conclusion of their world tour.
But the band will briefly return to the stage for a special 4 July (10) concert for U.S. President Barack Obama and an audience of American troops on Sunday (04July10).
Frontman Brandon Flowers admits they couldn't refuse such a special request. He says, "It is a monumental honour for us to be a part of this 4th of July celebration at the White House. We could never repay the service men and women of this country for their contributions and sacrifice. To perform for them and their families on America's birthday will be our pleasure."
