The rockers were due to play at the city's Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall on Thursday (12Mar09) night but the show was called off after police received anonymous warning about planned explosions at the venue.
Dutch police have arrested six men and a woman in connection with the alleged plot, on charges of preparing a terrorist attack.
One of those detained is believed to be a relative of a suspect in the 2004 Madrid train bombings in Spain, according to Pollstar.com.
Amsterdam mayor, Job Cohen, says, "It wasn't a regular bomb warning, but a warning of a planned action aimed at creating casualties in shops."
The show has been rescheduled for 29 May (09).
