Kiefer Sutherland is to make his Broadway debut.
The Canadian actor - who is best known for his role as hunky secret agent Jack Bauer in TV drama '24' - is to tread the boards of New York's iconic theatre district alongside 'Sex and the City' star Chris Noth in a revival of Jason Miller's 1972 drama 'That Champion Season'.
Directed by Gregory Mosher, the play is also set to star Brian Cox, Jason Patric and Jim Gaffigan in a story which centres around the reunion of four former college athletes with their basketball coach 20 years after winning the state championship.
Kiefer recently admitted he was so thrilled to have been involved in '24' he doesn't care if it puts a limit on the type of roles his is offered in the future.
He said: "If '24' is the thing that defines my career, and nobody else wants to work with me again because of it, I would have to say I would take it - without a second's hesitation."
