Khloe Kardashian is considering having a baby via gestational carrier.

The reality TV star recently asked 'Fashion Police' star Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill for advice after they used that method to have their son Edward and they encouraged her and husband Lamar Odom to go fir it.

A source said: ''They highly recommended it and said it was the best thing they ever did.''

However, Khloe and Lamar are investigating other options including adoption and despite her heartache at being unable to conceive, Khloe has joked they could potentially end up with lots of kids if all her options work out.

The source added to America's OK! magazine: ''She is very cognizant of the fact that there are many children and babies without homes. She would be open to welcoming an adopted child but she really wants to have a child that is biologically hers and Lamar's.

''She jokes that she'll probably end up with a whole basketball team of babies because with her look, she'll have a surrogate baby, then an adoption will come through at the last minute and suddenly she'll have a miracle and get pregnant.''
