Kevin Costner - Kevin Costner Keen To Adapt Book Series Into Tv And Film Projects

Kevin Costner is in talks to pick up the global rights for illustrated adventure book series The Explorers Guild, and has plans to turn it into a lucrative new film and TV venture.
The Dances With Wolves star is hoping to adapt the book into both an animated TV series and a movie franchise, in which Costner would star, according to internet reports.
He says, "It represents the highest level of storytelling that lends itself to numerous platforms and if the words are protected, this can find a place as a premium content series, animated and live, and a feature.
"It feels like one of those billion-dollar babies that sometimes blow up with a high degree of literacy and commercial appeal. We are looking for the right kind of partner who recognises this."
