Kevin Costner is set to star in a film about World War II - and is on the look-out for German actors to join the cast.
Kevin Costner is set to star in a World War II film.
The 'Bodyguard' actor is getting ready to start shooting the military movie but is remaining tight-lipped on the project.
Costner - who also fronts the rock band Kevin Costner and Modern West - said: "This year I'll shoot a film about World War II. It's a drama and it'll play in the US. But I won't say anything else about it."
Although reluctant to spill any further details, the 55-year-old actor will be looking out for potential cast members when he tours Germany with his band.
He added: "While in Germany I'll cast four or five German actors."
Talking about the transition from screen to stage, the actor-turned-musician said: "I am always totally nervous before I go on. And that's not because I am not prepared, it's because I am scared that the people have certain expectations for the evening which I cannot fulfil. Or that my voice won't hang on."
