Aussie country star Keith Urban returned to the stage on Friday night (03Feb12) for his first concert following throat surgery.
The singer/songwriter was forced to scrap a series of shows at the end of 2011 when he discovered he had a polyp on his vocal chords.
He underwent surgery in November (11) and spent Christmas unable to make a sound as he recovered.
But he made a triumphant return on Friday as he performed on one of country music's most hallowed stages, the Grand Ole Opry's Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
It was a very special night as it marked the final concert before the venue's 61-year-old stage, which has hosted the likes of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, is dismantled to make way for a new platform.
