Keanu Reeves - Keanu Reeves Pens 'Sad Keanu' Book

Keanu Reeves, the American actor and star of the 'Matrix' movies, has reacted to a series of photos of him looking depressed and forlorn by writing a book about loneliness and self-pity. Keanu Reeves's book features a selection of inkblot paintings that appear to be inspired by the 'Sad Keanu' meme that swept the internet several years ago, reports the New York Daily News.
'Ode To Happiness' is a collection of paintings that purposely look like they've been blurred by tears. The images are accompanied by depressing passages such as "I draw a hot sorrow bath in my despair room". The final line in the book simply says, "It can always be worse". When quizzed on why he wrote the book, the actor said he was listening to a particularly depressing radio station, saying, "It was so voluptuously horrible. And I just started to write on this piece of paper, because I had this image of, you know, that moment when you take that bath, you light that candle, and you're really just kind of depressed". The 'Sad Keanu' internet craze first emerged after a picture of the actor looking depressed on a park bench began circulating online. Fans began photoshopping the image to feature Keanu in various bizarre locations. 'Ode To Happiness', which was produced in only three days, will be available as a limited-edition pressing of only 4,000 copies.
Keanu Reeves recently completed work on the forthcoming action-drama movie '47 Ronin', about a band of samurais who set out to avenge the death of their master.
