The New York Post now reports that, following Perry putting the house up for sale, someone has bought the property for nearly the same amount as Perry herself purchased it. The North Moore Street apartment in New York boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cherry wood staircase and a south-facing terrace with sweeping city views.

Whilst this was all going down, Perry has been seen cavorting with Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, the pair first being publicly spotted together at Coachella Festival in California. The divorce was about as amicable as they come, with Brand even refusing the chance to take 50 per cent of Perry's substantial earnings. Clear that both of them were ready to move on at the time of the split, it's no real surprise that the pop star already has her sights on a new man.
