Katy Perry And Brand Buy 'The Bachelor' Mansion
The three-story residence was featured in season one of 'The Bachelor', in which management consultant Alex Michel popped the question to Amanda Marsh. Built in 1925, the Spanish-style home measures 8,835 square feet and features nine bathrooms, a luxury guest house, a home cinema, a 'grotto style' swimming pool, and stain-glass windows. The couple will now move out of their 1922 house in California having lived there for almost two years. Their new property used to belong to Daniel Laikin, the former chief executive of the National Lampoon Inc, who bought it for over $4 million in 2004. Laikin was sentenced to nearly four years in prison in 2010 for stock price manipulation.
After around a year of dating, Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand tied the knot at a tiger sanctuary in India in October. The singer is currently abroad on her California Dreams world tour while Russell is busy shooting new movie 'Rock of Ages' in Miami.
