Katona Suffers Miscarriage

by | 27 September 2007

Kerry Katona suffered a miscarriage yesterday after being six weeks pregnant with husband Mark Croft's child.

In a cruel twist of fate, the ex-Atomic Kitten singer lost her baby on the same day that she announced the pregnancy in OK! magazine.

Kerry appears on the front cover of the celebrity mag with her husband alongside the quotes "Oh no! I'm pregnant again!"

Her publicist, Max Clifford, told the Mirror: "Kerry was only a few weeks pregnant. She's sad but she's young and healthy and they had a baby not so long ago.

"She's as good as she can be in the circumstances. She's resilient, as always. They're upset but they'll bounce back. She's handling it as best she can."

It hasn't been an easy year for Kerry; this summer she was held up at gunpoint by masked robbers as they raided her home.

The couple flew to Italy earlier this month for a lavish wedding blessing and have a seven-month-old daughter together, named Heidi.

Kerry also has two daughters, six-year-old Molly and four-year-old Lilly Sue – from her previous marriage to Westlife singer Brian McFadden.
