Katie Price Heading To Oxford University
According to the UK's Daily Telegraph, Price will join the list of famous orators and is currently looking to confirm a date that will fit with her schedule. The debating society, once described by Harold MACmillan as "the last bastion of free speech", has welcomed a number of unlikely guests in recent years. The Hollywood glamour model Pamela Anderson spoke to the society about animal rights, and socialite Jodie Marsh once took part in a celebrity debate there. Price, who attended Blatchington Mill School in Sussex, was scheduled to guest-edit the Today programme over Christmas but was reportedly dropped in favour of Oscar-winner Colin Firth. Her close friend Rupert Everett had expressed his desire for her to appear as Eliza Doolittle in his production of 'Pygmalion' in Chichester last year.
Katie Price was in Leeds on Wednesday (27th July 2011) promoting her latest novel 'The Comeback Girl'. She had hoped to break the world-record for the biggest ever book signing, but failed.
