Katie Holmes Begins Comeback On Broadway
Katie Holmes is to return to Broadway later this year.
The 33-year-old actress will star in 'Dead Accounts' - her first major project since announcing her split from Tom Cruise late last month - this autumn, and playwright Theresa Rebeck is ''positively tingling with delight'' about the brunette beauty being in the production.
She told The Wrap: ''It's beyond cool, honestly. The whole team is lively as hell. I am positively tingling with delight.''
Katie - whose divorce settlement with the 'Mission: Impossible' actor was agreed earlier this month - will play a woman in her 30s, who lives with her parents and faces a shock when her brother returns to their Cincinnati town in strange circumstances.
It wont be the first time the 'Dawson's Creek' actress has appeared on Broadway after starring in a revival of Arthur Miller's play 'All My Sons' in 2008 alongside John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson.
