Kathleen Turner - Kathleen Turner's Play To Close After Eight Performances

Actress Kathleen Turner's new Broadway play High is to close after just eight regular performances at the Booth Theatre.
Turner's Romancing The Stone co-star Michael Douglas was in the audience to cheer her on when the play opened on Tuesday night (19Apr11) after 28 previews.
But his interest won't be enough to prevent the curtain coming down on the production, which will close on Sunday (24Apr11).
In the Matthew Lombardo play, Turner plays a nun who agrees to sponsor a 19-year-old drug user in an effort to help him combat his addiction.
