Katherine Jenkins - Katherine Jenkins Confronted By Fan In Dressing Room

The 31-year-old was preparing to take to the stage for a show at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, England earlier this month (Feb12) when an unnamed man entered her private backstage area and "scared the living daylights" out of her.

He was subsequently removed by security guards, but the star decided against informing the police.

Jenkins told fans about the incident in a post on her Twitter.com page, writing, "U (sic) know how much I love u all but it's Never acceptable 2 (sic) sneak in2 (into) my dressing room pre-show for a 'cuddle'. Scared the living daylights outta me."

She tells Britain's Mail on Sunday, "He said he wanted a cuddle. It was pretty scary. My security team got him out of there. We know how he got in. I didn't involve the police because I didn't want to make a big fuss. But it won't be happening again."
