Katherine Heigl Won't Return To Grey's
Katherine Heigl has said she has no plans to return to the television series 'Grey's Anatomy' even though she misses her character.
Katherine Heigl will never return to 'Grey's Anatomy'.
The 'Life As We Know It' actress - who is married to musician Josh Kelley - left the TV medical drama earlier this year to focus on raising her adopted daughter Naleigh, 20 months, and though she misses her character, Dr. Izzy Stephens, she doesn't see how she could plausibly return to the programme.
She told MTV.com: "That chapter is closed, and it's sad, and it's hard. I can't think of any way that she could come back gracefully that wouldn't just feel manipulative. And, it's hard, because I really wonder what she's doing and where she is and what happened, but that is over for me now."
Katherine revealed she misses Justin Chambers - who plays her on-screen husband Dr. Alex Karev - and thinks their characters belong together.
She added: "I really miss that relationship. Justin Chambers is one of the most amazing men, and certainly a spectacular actor. I feel oddly attached to him, and the character and my character being together. It just seems what's supposed to be, but you can't have it all."
