Bryan Ferry - Kate Moss Hired Helicopter For Bryan Ferry To Sing At Wedding
Bryan Ferry was left in awe of Kate Moss' lavish wedding celebrations - the supermodel sent an "enormous" helicopter to pick him up for the nuptials.
The blonde beauty is a big fan of Ferry's band Roxy Music and even agreed to pose for the cover of his 2010 album Olympia, while he returned the favour by performing at her reception when she married rocker Jamie Hince earlier this month (Jul11).
Ferry was already scheduled to play a gig at Kent's Hop Farm music event on Moss' big day - but the bride was so determined to have him sing at her party, she spared no expense transporting him to the English village of Little Faringdon in Gloucestershire.
He tells Britian's Radio Times, "We did the festival at the Hop Farm in Kent first then they sent this enormous helicopter - I didn't know they existed that big - to pick up me and the band.
"There were about 16 of us. We flew to Kate's about 11 o'clock and did the show at midnight. Kate's choice for the wedding was very, very sophisticated. The first dance was If There is Something from the first Roxy Music album. I was quite surprised how many people like that kind of thing. Kate knows her Roxy onions - I'm very flattered!
"The last song was Let's Stick Together, which seems quite appropriate. The dance floor was heaving."
