Kate Middleton is pregnant? Those have been the rumors surrounding the newest Royal, the Duchess of Cambridge having only married to Prince William for just short of seven months. American's In Touch Magazine certainly seem to think they've got a scoop, a Buckingham Palace insider saying "Since before they even got married, it's been made clear to William and Kate that having children should be their number-one priority".
Indeed, it seems like the Queen is keen for great-grandchildren if the source is to be believed, and the recently-wed couple apparently look set to deliver with the quoted source going on to say "They want something traditional, Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl," and adding "he's very much his mother's son, and he also knows that his father, Prince Charles, would like a granddaughter".
That all sounds pretty comprehensive, but don't go planning the baby shower just yet, because an official statement from Clarence House has come out, with Marie Claire reporting it saying "we do not comment on speculation," meaning that the question of Middleton's pregnancy is still up in the air. The couple had previously said they planned on having a family, saying after their marriage "I think we'll take it one step at a time. We'll sort of get over the marriage thing first, then look at the kids. But obviously, we want a family."
