Kate Middleton - Kate Middleton Leading The Charge For The Fashion Gold Medal In The London Olympics' First Week
Kate Middleton has been omnipresent so far during the London Olympics' opening week, and the Duchess of Cambridge was once again in attendance as her fellow royalty Zara Phillips won a share of the team silver medal in equestrian. Middleton was with her husband Prince William as Phillips joined William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Tina Cook and Nicola Wilson during the multi-event competition to narrowly lose out on the gold medal to an extremely strong German squad at Horses Guards in London.
Phillips is William's cousin, and so it was no surprise to see that - in addition to Prince and Duchess - her mother Princess Anne, Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall were also there to cheer the team on. STV reports that Kate was looking stunning once again, as she has done all week, opting for a nautical look with a Breton striped top, coupled up with a navy blue Smythe jacket.
The night before Middleton had taken a break from her Olympic watching to turn out at the Royal Academy of Arts in London for the British government's GREAT Campaign, aimed at celebrating the best that the country has to offer. The Sun reported that the Duchess was a delight once again, wearing a knee-length grey frock by designer Roksanda Ilincic, which featured an asymmetric slashed neckline and a zip-up back. Sweeping her hair up into a bedazzling chignon, she also saw fit to accessorise with a white and gold clutch bag. With nearly two weeks left to go, all eyes will undoubtedly be on the 30 year-old to see if she can maintain her hot fashion streak going.
