Kate Dillon Is Latest Celebrity To Welcome First Child
Kate Dillon, the 'plus size' American model best known for appearing in campaigns for 'Gucci' and 'Nine West', has given birth to her first child and named the baby boy 'Lucas Dillon Levin', reports People Magazine. The 36-year-old started her modelling career in New York as a size 6, however, after overcoming health issues she re-launched herself as a size 14 fashion model.
Dillon is the latest in a recent flurry of celebrities to give birth to their first children. Yesterday (22nd December 2010), the actress Ali Larter and her husband Hayes MacArthur announced the arrival of their baby boy 'Theodore', and today 'Friends' star David Schwimmer confirmed that he is going to be a father for the first time. Dillon, who has been photographed by the likes of Mario Testino and ALBERT WATSON, first met her real estate investor husband GABE LEVIN during a flight in 2007 and the couple were married just over a year later.
Speaking of their delight in welcoming their new-born the couple said, "We are thrilled and absolutely in love with Lucas!"
