Kate Bosworth Gets Goodnight Role
Kate Bosworth will star in semi-autobiographical drama 'Goodnight Moon' from first-time director Elgin James.
Kate Bosworth has been cast in 'Goodnight Moon'.
The 27-year-old actress will star alongside Leslie Mann in the semi-autobiographical drama written and directed by newcomer Elgin James.
Juno Temple, AnnaSophia Robb and Chris Coy are also cast in the film, which will be produced by Jamie Patricof, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie tells the tale of two runaways in Los Angeles who find themselves in trouble after befriending street children in the city.
Leslie plays Juno's mother in the film and Kate her aunt.
Kate's career has been quiet in recent years - her last big film 'Superman Returns' was released in 2006, although she has since starred in 'The Girl in the Park' and '21'.
She has a number of projects coming up including action fantasy 'The Warrior's Way' with Geoffrey Rush and David Austin and 'Straw Dogs' with James Marsden and Alexander Skarsgard.
'Goodnight Moon' is set for release in 2011.
