Kanye West publicly declared his love for Kim Kardashian way back in 2009. Turns out we just weren’t paying attention at the time! Sources close to the rapper have told TMZ that there are Kim-based lyrics on his 2009 hit ‘Knock You Down,’ which features Keri Hilson. The lyrics in question have Kanye rapping “You was always the cheerleader of my dreams / To seem to only date the head of football teams / And I was the class clown that always kept you laughing / We were never meant to be, baby we just happened.” Later in the song, he adds “you should leave your boyfriend now,” which is most likely a reference to REGGIE BUSH, who Kim was dating at the time.

Kanye has made no secret of the fact that he’s carried a flame for Kim for some time but it’s only now that anyone has put two and two together and realised that he’s actually been rapping about her for years! More recently, Kanye confessed that his song ‘Perfect Bitch’ is about Kim and he seems to be making a habit of going public with his affections.

His forthcoming track ‘Cruel Summer’ contains the lyrics “Eat breakfast at Gucci. My girl a superstar all from a home movie,” which is a reference to the fact that Kim Kardashian made her name when a sex tape with her and Ray J was leaked online. Earlier in the year, Kanye even serenaded Kim whilst she watched one of his concerts and sang the lyric “I admit I fell in love with Kim” from the track ‘Way Too Cold’ directly at her.
