Pop singer Justin Timberlake has signed on as the new Creative Director of beverage brand Bud Light Platinum.
The Social Network actor will serve as a musical and cultural consultant for the beer company and star in an advert, called Platinum Night.
The clip will feature his new single Suit & Tie and air on Sunday (10Feb13) during the Grammy Awards, where Timberlake is set to perform - and the 32 year old is excited about his new position.
A statement from Timberlake reads, "Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I'm doing. I'm looking forward to not only being a part of the creative process, but in bringing other talented musicians to the forefront as well."
Meanwhile, marketing executive Paul Chibe insists the SexyBack singer will bring a lot to the table, adding, "Justin Timberlake is one of the greatest creative minds in the entertainment industry, and his insights will help us further define Bud Light Platinum's identity in the lifestyle space.
"Since launching Bud Light Platinum last year (12), we've worked to align the brand closely with music, including leveraging tracks by Kanye West and Avicii in our first ads. Partnering with Justin as he makes his return to music brings a new level of relevance and credibility to the brand."
It's been a busy month (Feb13) for the star - he made his music comeback over the weekend (01-03Feb13) by staging his first concert in five years at a pre-Super Bowl bash in New Orleans, Louisiana.
